I love this fruit. MANGO!! Have you ever eat this? The taste is so sweet, and smell is so good. I can smell sweet.
This fruit change to juice, jelly, pudding, ice cream and so on.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

I read this book. I studied about author in "English literary history" . The author is Washington Irving. Characters are Ichabod Crane, Katrina Van Tassel and Brom Bones. Ichabod teaches Katrina to singing. Brom is the hero of Sleepy Hollow. And he also Ichabod's big rival. Two man compete to marry her.
But finally Ichabod lose. And he die. He lost his head. "Headless Man" There is a legend of "Headless Man" in Sleepy Hollow. It's a story of headless horseman. He gallops on his black horse and follows us. So Ichabod was killed the " headless horseman".
I think it's story is not so interesting. But my teacher of English literary history. She had been visit the Sleepy Hollow.

HEIDI

Do you know HEIDI? This story's scene is Alps. Heidi is little girl. She lives with his granpa. And she made friends with Peter and Klala. There are many animals, cow, goat and so on. She had different experience.

LOVE or MONEY?

I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University. My major is British and American studies. I want to be an English teacher, so I take education course. This university has chance of study abroad. According buildings are beautiful and have man greens. We can study comfortable very much. (46words)

My boyfriend ｡ﾟ+.(*｀･∀･´*)ﾟ+.ﾟ For 4 days

My boyfriend come here from Nagoya!! (We go together for 1 year 10 months.)
We met after an interval of 3 months.
On Thursday we eat yakiniku with my mother. It's delicious. We all enjoyed it.
On Friday I had a class from 9:00 till 18:00. My brother came my school and we had the fourth class together. Our dunner was omelet containing fried rices and the salad. He cooked it. It's delicious and I was happy.
On Saturday we go shopping. We enjoyed it. He bought me clothes. Becouse I won the game.
On Sunday he had to go back to Nagoya. I was sad very much. I didn't say goodbye. But I had to stand. We meet him again after 3 months. In September. This manth have his birthday (20 years old). I will celebrate on a large scale. I want to see him early.

My host family

Today I read the mail which is from my host family. There are 4 members. My American Mother and Father are Kevin and Karen Mikkelson. And 2 little brothers, David (11 years old) and Bobby (6 years old).
They have 2 cats and pool!!! I will bring swimming suit. I think they are very kind when I read the mail.
In America I want to have different experience. I'm looking forward to visit them.

Mother's day and Father's day

I hunged over the travel ticket which I bought the other day. I said my mother "thank you very much". I thought that I owe what I am to them too. I must thank for them. I love my parents.
I want to live them together again after my guraduation. After my mother went home, my father called me. He said me "Thank you I will go the hot spring with my mother". I was glad to hear that. I'll present next year, and I'll thank for my parents.

I studied this story's author. He is Mark Twain. This story has 6 characters. Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, Aunt Polly, Becky Thatcher, Injun Joe and Muff Potter. Tom lives aunt Aunt Polly's house. He had many adventures with Huck (his good friend). The last of this adventure they found the old box. It was the treasure box. They showed it Aunt Polly. Then they become rich and famous in St Petersburg.

I introduce my university!! Its name is Kumamo Gakuen University. There are 4 faculties. 4 facilities have 2 or 3 subjects. People who belong to the department of commercial science study about business and marketing. People who belong to the economics faculty study about money and information technology. People who belong to foreign faculty study language mainly. People who belong to social welfare faculty study care and welfare mainly.

My major is British and American studies. We all take many classes. The reason that I chose the studies about English is I want to be an English teacher. When I was a high school student (freshman), I met one teacher. She was my homeroom teacher. She told me to be an English teacher you had better choose English studies not educational faculty. She also told me I want you to study whole of English.

I take many and different classes. Last year I got 56 units (48 units were graduation unit and 8 units were educational unit). I studied about language, Western history and philosophy, British and American circumstance, and so on. This year I study about language too. Others are about English literary history.

After we go to university for 5 years people graduate the university. Graduate start to work various workplace. Kumamoto Gakuen University's graduate(British and English studies) got employments which is common carrier, production company, officer, education and service company and so on. Ground hostess, cabin attendant are popular job. And travel agency is too. My friends want to be them and work there too. All members has dream and ideal for the future.


Researching my university I can know different thing about it. I will go to this university about for 2 and a half year. During this time I want to study whole English and got license of teacher. And I want to have many experience. I will spend cheerfully with my friends.

Hello, I'm Chiemi. I'm cheerful, but a little shy. I’m not good at spiking English. But I want to talk very much. I have four members in my family. Father, Mother, little brother, and me. We are very friendship. And special member is dog. His name is Tom. We have had him since he was baby. So I'm not scared him, though I fear dogs.

Yakiniku☆ Ju~Ju~♪

I ate yakiniku midnight. Mr. Fujimoto (staff) treated to me. We went to the seikouen. I ate many different meats, I think the karubi was the best. They were all delicious. I moved. I haven't eat such a delicious yakiniku until now. If it is possible, Iwant to eat them again.

A MOVIE I LIKE

I like moves very much. Last year I watched about 20 movies. My favorite movie is Pirates of Caribbean. Main actor is Jonny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Its story is about Pirates. Music and CG is so excellent. Action scene is so exciting. There are three series. I think you must watch it in turn. If you don’t , you can't understand it well.

I'm happy☆ I got driver's license♪

I went to driving school for 4 months. And then I got license finally.

To get it was very hard for me. My instructor was so severe. He was usually angry with me.For a while I didn't go there. But my friends go there too, so we encouraged each other.
And then my graduation test was loose. I fell. I made a big mistake. It was secret!! I'm ashamed. But I don't give up. I tried it again next week. I past!!! I got my driver's lisence.
I can drive a car. I will pick you up!!!!!

Have been there

Have you visited the Kumamoto castle? I have done. I like Kumamoto castle. I think that this is very interesting place. When I was a high shool student, I visited there for the first time with my family. There were some ninja and many doves. The season was spring, so we can see beautiful cherry trees.

However, I didn't visit there since then. I just only look at them from the window of the bus and train and so on. Now I want to visit there again.

400th

Kumamoto castle is 400 years old. So Kumamoto castle have been built 400 years ago.

Therefore many events are held there from 12/31/2007 till5/5/2008. Tree events have already finished. Four events are going to be held in August, October, December and March. To see and join the events, many people come anywhere.

Year schedule

At Kumamoto castle, there are many event every year.

In the latter part of March, will be held "Kumamoto castle yakan kaien". People can see it at night. There are many cherry tree. We can enjoy it.

At the beginning of August, will be held "higo asagaoten" . We can see 80 pots of morning glories.

Time of harvest moon at mid autumn, will be held "meigetukanshoukai". The beautiful moon in September can be appreciated from the castle tower of the night.

In November, will be held "Kumamoto castle kikukaten" and "higo kikuten". We can see 70 kinds of and 300 pots of chrysanthemums.

New Year's day, will be held "geishungyouji". People celebrate New Year's day. We can enter specially.

History

The Kumamoto castle is very few castles where it is used for the actual combat in the castle of the early modern age.
The Satsuma samurai group bear arms with weapons such as modern cannons which did not exist in the age when Kiyomasa Kato fortified the Kumamoto castle. The castle tower seemed to have been burnt down immediately after the southwest war though the Kumamoto castle had endured this attack to the last minute.
This year the Kumamoto castle has been 400 years when it was raised a castle by Kiyomasa Kato.
